Grasmere and Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth are only a 20 minute drive from Ivythwaite Guest House, so whatever you choose to do, you will be able to enjoy the splendours that the Lake District has to offer.

A 15 minute stroll will take you to the lively village of Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere, where you can take a cruise or hire a rowing boat. Nearby there are also numerous pubs and restaurants to choose from and a wide selection of Lakeland curio shops.

We have our own private off-road parking and are set in our own garden, where guests can relax in quiet surroundings.

• You may check in from 15:00 hours onwards.
• You must check out by 11:00 hours.

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
